A: The standard collar with a two rechargeable battery kit is $149.95 plus S/H. Discounts are available for multiple pets. This price does not include the annual service plan. The annual monitoring fee is just $99.95 per year.

Q: How much is the rechargeable kit and what is in the kit?
A: You may purchase a replacement rechargeable battery kit for $49.95 plus S/H. The kit has two rechargeable batteries and a recharging station for the spare battery.

Q: Do you have custom collars sleeves?
A: The Secure-a-Pet® collar sleeves are currently available only in black, however a variety of colors and patterns will be available soon. One-of-a-kind custom collars are also available upon request.

Q: Is the Secure-a-Pet® collar safe for my pet?
A: Great care has been taken to ensure the collar is safe and will cause no harm to your pet.

Q: Is the Secure-a-Pet® collar waterproof?
A: The Secure-a-Pet® collar is designed to accommodate the normal activities associated with a pet in the rain or splashing. We do not recommend full submersion.

Q: Is this a chip?
A: No. A microchip has only the ability to provide a serial number to help identify a pet if you have the correct reader. The Secure-a-Pet® system will help you to actually locate your pet utilizing GPS and our patented technology from your computer, cell phone, or via our customer support center.

Q: How quickly will the Secure-a-Pet® system provide me the location of my pet?
A: Under normal conditions the Secure-a-Pet® system will provide the location of your pet within 3 to 4 minutes.

Q: How accurate is the location provided?
A: The mapped location is designed to be accurate within less than 25 feet.

Q: Does the Secure-a-Pet® system work inside buildings?
A: The system has the ability to transmit and receive from inside a normal home building, however in order to get more accurate location, the collar should be outdoors.

Q: Can I use my Secure-a-Pet® collar when I travel?
A: Yes. The coverage map for our service approximates 93% of the US population area, so with some exceptions you will have coverage.

Q: How long will my rechargeable batteries last?
A: The Secure-a-Pet® rechargeable batteries are designed to operate under normal conditions for up to one month each.

Q: How will I know when to change the batteries?
A: The Secure-a-Pet® service will provide a reminder via email or push notification when the batteries reach approximately 25% capacity. We will remind you twice to change the batter help ensure you have good batteries in the event your pet should stray and you require an "on-demand" search.

Q: Can I use the Secure-a-Pet® system to locate a loved one other than my pet?
A: The Secure-a-Pet® system is designed only for the exclusive purpose of helping to locate your pet. We take no responsibility or liability for the use of the device other than the purpose for which it was designed.

Q: Can the Secure-a-Pet® collar be used by all animals (pets)?
A: Generally, the Secure-a-Pet® collar can be utilized by almost any size pet with weights in excess of approximately 10 lbs. The collar can also be attached to a harness.

Q: How much does the Secure-a-Pet® collar weigh?
A: The Secure-a-Pet® collar weighs approximately 4.0 ounces with battery.
Q:The Refund policy is:
The Secure-a-Pet Product is guaranteed against manufactures defects for a period of 90 days from the date of activation.
The customer may optionally obtain the Secure-a-Pet Collar Protection Plan which will provide the replacement of the Collar and Collar Sleeves up to four times per year for a annual charge of $19.95 per collar. The customer will be required to pay for shipping of the device to be replaced.
The customer, for any reason, may return the unopened kit for a full refund within 3 days of purchase. Returns of the unopened kit beyond the 3 days are subject to a 10% re-stocking fee.
The customer may return the undamaged kit if it is determined there is no coverage in the location of the pet defined in the profile of the pet. The customer will receive a full refund if the product is returned undamaged within 14 days of purchase. Returns beyond the 14 days are subject to a 10% re-stocking fee.
The customer may return the opened kit and receive a full refund less a 20% re-stocking charge if returned undamaged within 14 days of purchase.
The customer may return the opened kit and receive a full refund less a 20% re-stocking charge and a network cancellation fee of $25.00 if returned undamaged within 30 days of purchase.
